we are printing on navy Russell hoodies. we are printing a white under base and red on top of the white but not covering up all the white. the red is bleeding onto the white areas what am I doing wrong?

we are using wilflex top score ink. we are printing the white, flashing, then printing the red.

You mean you don't have sharp print with the top color, the red smear on the white is that right ?

What ink and mesh do you use ?

on the white ink we used a 110 mesh, on the red we were using a 155 mesh. should the red mesh have been a 230? we are new and only have three different screen mesh types right now

yes the red ink was bleeding/smearing into the white ink

That would depend of the ink texture, but 155 not appropriate, you have seen the result
I would choose 205 - 230, perfect.

If it smear you can add thickener powder to change the body of the ink.

You need to have a really smooth underbase as well ^^ that will ease the job.
