Hi there,

I would like to get into pressing t-shirts. I have a bunch of Ora 751, 651 & 631 vinyl in stock (I am into making signs & vehicle decals) but unsure it will work properly in a heat press. I want to use the correct vinyl for the application, and when I look in the swatch books every vinyl says "heat transfer compatible". However my supplier does carry "Thermal advantage". Any advice or clarity anyone can give me on this matter is greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, Oracal Sign Vinyl can't be used on T-shirts. You would need to buy vinyl that does not have a sticky back. With sign making vinyl, the actual vinyl is sticky, with t-shirt vinyl, it is attached to a sticky carrier sheet. HTH
