Hi, I opened the coolest, funniest, most unique imprinted apparel for infants and toddlers about a month ago. No sales yet but I have had maybe 175 views, probably mostly from BigCartel users. Please take a look and tell me what you think-about any of it-designs or site. Now to promote it! Thanks.

nice tees, VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!!! i am uk based so in £'s it would work out about £11.43 for 1, WOW!!!!!
I can buy a pack of 8 for less than that with similar style/design at the store down the road....

...and also with the current economic climate most mothers will buy cheap plain packs of x amount because they grow out of them soooooo quickly i have a 5 month old and know she doesnt spend two minutes in them, some she only wore once then she was too big for them others she didn't even get chance to wear. They would probably be bought as a gift, but no one would pay that price because obviously they wouldn't just want to give a tee/vest for xmas and ppl have to budget...

Though I agree with what you are saying, the less expensive ones down the street are usually mass produced in China and EVERY CHILD in the neighborhood will be wearing the same one. With a tight budget we can't stock our wardrobe with these but these are the type of things that are cute and special for showers and other baby presents.

I think $15-20 is the going price for non mass produced shirts for kids.

I like your site. It is clean (not overly cluttered and chaotic) and easy to use! The onsies are cute! Good luck with this!
yes true! point taken.. maybe im just tight lol!!
though all my baby presents were all pink and lilac dresses...
They are very cute. I'm thinking about baby clothes for my designs. Where did you buy the onesies?
Hello
Your site is easy to navigate. I have no idea how much baby stuff costs in the U.S.A or U.K, when I go to New York and buy T-shirts that are not mass produced I usually pay about $20+ and these normally last years,my fav has lasted about 6 years a bit faded. The missing things are.

1) No information about the company.

2) No contact details, no address or phone No.

3) No returns Policy.

4) No privacy policy.

5) No Shipping Costs info, i had problems at the checkout
entering my Postcode and being told it's wrong.

You're not tight. It's a hard economy right now and you are right, kids grow out of clothes way too fast. These "designer" threads are those things you never buy for yourself (only when you splurge) but things that you love to get as a gift. I sell customized kids clothing too and I would say a majority of my sales are for Presents. They want something special. No one likes going to a party and 2-3 people ended up buying the same outfit as a gift! Everyone likes to have the gift that everyone "oooh and ahhhs" over "where did you get that?" Then you did good! You're not tight! :) Your just being smart with your money!
Thanks for all the thoughtful replies. As to the price, maybe they are too expensive, but compared to similar products such as these: www.sandboxthreads,com HUDDY BUDDY :: T-shirts and onesies for newborns, infants, toddlers and kids :: twins, big brothers, little brothers, big sisters, little sisters, rock star, guitar t-shirt they are in the ballpark. And again these are not mass produced in China but are designed & printed by me on my DTG machine -for what that's worth (maybe not much!)

Besides, if you want something cheap and made in China you can go to WalMart- I certainly can't compete with that so hopefully the uniqueness of my designs are worth the extra $$$. I will add some info about my company, returns, etc. in the FAQ section. BigCartel doesn't give as much customization as i would like, but i don't know HTML either

To whoever asked, I get my blanks for TSC.
i mean FROM TSC.

You can never go wrong with lobsters on baby clothes.

Maybe not, but that's a crab! LOL

Here's the thing. Most of us are used to paying maybe $15-18 for a quality printed T-shirt, so you think 'baby clothes are a lot smaller, so they should cost less'. Well, wrong- I can buy adult large t-shirts all day long for less than $2 each, but a blank onesie costs me almost $4. And they're harder to print because they're so small.

I still may be over priced, but the bottom line is they cost more than an xL adult T-shirt from the start-unless you're mass producing them in China of course.
I dont think there is anything wrong with your pricing, I think though that it might be just a little high and you might have a hard time getting orders right now due to the economy. I have been doing kids clothing for 3 years and I can say that it is slow, so you might want to take that into consideration. I too do all of my printed garments on a dtg :) I agree that the blank childrens wear is more expensive for quality garments. I think you are doing really cute stuff :) Keep up the good work.

i think the designs are fantastic i would be very glad to recieve as a present.. have you thought about maybe a giftwrapping service? say for instance family/friends live a very long way and wasnt able to meet for xmas.. it would be a good service instead of sending out to them to giftwrap then them sending back out all in time for xmas... would save a lot of time and take the hassle of it for the customer who has a million other presents to buy, i know it would swing my decision.... just a thought..
Cute designs!

In additon to obeseman's comments I would include an 'About" page and a site map.
