We are using JetWear Dark transfers, trying to cut a design with lettering outside of the image. We tried using application tape to lift the design and lettering from the transfer. This did not work well, and tried to press the design on the shirt from application tape, and the tape melted to the shirt.

Can someone please tell us where we are going wrong?

What type of application tape are you using? Usually with melting occuring it's an issue where your heat is to high.
