I would like to know how to created a comb-like image with exact in length and width "teeth"?

like a chevron type of design? If so draw a straight line>5th icon from bottom distort tool. Watch property bar for change pick zipper effect, and adjust accordingly. Hope this helps if that is what your after.

And also, if u can see the sail is just placed over the hexagon line (u can see the line thru the sail) but if I wanted to stop the line from going thru, perhaps stop each side right before the sail, how would I go about bout doing that?

Hey! I'm sure there is a better way, but maybe making one comb tooth triangle shape and then duplicating it. On illustrator with pen tool then move down a bit, then control D to repeat

I'd do it by drawing one tooth, then copying and pasting it as many times as necessary and using "align and distribute" to space the teeth evenly. Then use an arc as a guideline to form the curved shape. Combine all the teeth into a single object and trim it.
