Importing Omniprinter into canada

Did you get any info on this? Ill be looking at doing the same thing after Christmas.

Thanks for the link Mike but I've already been in contact with David at OmniPrint.

What we are trying to find out now is the process to import it into Canada and trying to figure out the duties and taxes that will be added at the border.

Where is this equipment made?....
Do you have a business number that is endorsed for imports?

Very likely there is no duty on this item.....But you will need to pay PST, GST & HST as it applies to your province.....

With a shipment like this, you probably should involve a broker.....A screw-up on your paperwork and there could be fines of 1,000s of $s....

Just an update, in Ontario you pay 5% GST, No duty, but you need to have a Tax number and Federal Business number and an import number. I am using a broker, and it adds about $1600 to the price tag.
