Hi,
I just purchased my Roland Cutter and cant seem to import eps files. I dont know if there is a certain setting for the eps file in AI. I know I must be doing something wrong. I have already downloaded the plug in. It is AI CS version. Has anyone had this problem before. I was able to import an EPS file that was created by 24hourartwork, so I am wondering if it is my version or something in the way I am saving the file. I wanted to get into the Roland forum, but cant register because it doesnt like my model and serial number that I got off of the sticker. Goodness am I frustrated. Thanks in advance,

try saving in an earlier format...maybe version 7 or 8

That did it. I saved it as a version 8 and that did the trick. Thanks so much. I spent hours trying to figure it out.

Have you just tried dragging and dropping the file into the program?
Which roland cutter program are you using?

Hi, Didnt try dragging it on there, just used the import command. I am using cut studio. So far so good. Got it last week and did 40 shirts yesterday, love the look and feel of them. Was very impressed with the results.
