Hello,
I have a Brother GT 361 printer.
After printing and stacking up the tshirts over each other we see the image of at the back of the shirts placed over .

Why is this and how best to avoid it ??

Please suggest.

Thank you.

Do you have more details? Your question is a bit confusing.

Are these shirts cured before you stack?
What color/brand are they?
Heat press or Dryer?

Just a wild guess, but you get a ghost image burn through to the back of the garment sometimes on lighter shirts if you don't thread the shirt when you heat press it.

Yes these are colored shirts like balck , navt , red.
They are pre treated and than printed.
After that they are cured and placed on the table to stack one on top of the other and folded up.

But later when customer comes to pick up, we see an shadow imprint of the design at the back of the tshirts.

Hope this helps.

Are you sure the shadow imprintwasn't there before you stack them up?

If yes:
a) How do you cure the prints?

b) What happens if you stretch the print?

c) What happens if you rub it with another piece of fabric?

Askadi623, you will want to use a heat press that allows you to load the garment on just like the platen of the GT3 with the front (when pretreated) only getting cured. We are after keeping the front and back of the shirt separate during either of the curing operations for the garment. So for the pretreat cure we want to thread the garment and also for the ink cure we want to thread or load the garment onto the platen. Try this versus sitting the garment both front and back directly onto the platen. When a garment is not threaded on the heat press, some pretreat passes onto back layer. When ink, while still hot, makes contact with pretreat on back area some will adhere. Also ensure that the pretreat and ink are fully cured before stacking in this manner. If you’re located within the US or Canada and still require additional technical assistance, please give us a call at 877-4Brother or contact your original dealer if outside these areas.
