Sounds like you got a lot of polymer transfer to the non-printed part of the paper. That means either too much pressure or too much time on the first stage press (green to red paper) or a combination of both. I found that to get a clean first stage press takes very light pressure.

I thought mabey you might have a clue as to what I might have done wrong. I have a tangering colored shirt, black text and image clip. Did each press to the time and temp it required. (I have a heat gun) There is a white box where the paper was applied even after washing and drying several times. Any ideas what I might have done wrong? Thanks Brian
