Hi guys I'm in the dtg for 10 years with excellent results and I consider myself quite expert. Now I work with Brother GT-782 and I dry with the oven.
Recently I decided to try Image Armor Light to increase color vibrancy on white garments and extend my business to polyester.
I followed all the instructions: 22 grams for a 14 "x14" area, heat set 330F for 30 seconds, additional 10 second intervals until dry.
I printed with Image Armor Light + CMYK
I printed the following items:
100% cotton ring spun white t-shirt
100% cotton ring spun gray t-shirt
80% cotton + 20% polyester white sweatshirt
100% white polyester
The print came out very well, spectacular colors.
However, at the first wash I had some disappointing results: the white t-shirt and the 100% polyester t-shirt had a good result but the gray t-shirt and especially the sweatshirt had a very disappointing result. I attach photos. Any explanation or suggestion?
