I am looking at buying a used 2 yr old Sprint. This is what the owner is telling me: "I replaced the print head, all ink lines, all dampers, and the maintenance station. Basically, the whole ink system has been replaced. I flushed out the needles that go directly into the cartridges as that’s what Anajet said I should do. It gives me perfect nozzle checks when I run one and I have only used the white ink on it a couple of times. I just didn’t print many dark shirts." It has a price tag of about $5000. What do you guys think? and thanks in advance!

I bought a used sprint and had it refurbished. IMO, its the best way to go. The only thing I will tell you is to stay with Dupont ink. My machine ran perfect and was easy to clean until I switched to a different ink manufacturer. Good luck with it! The other thing I will say is that I stick with the methods (maintenance, loading ink, and general care) that Anajet recommends and I have no problems with it.

I appreciate that. I understand that humidity and keep the machine wiped down and clean is they key to this type of equipment.

I agree with staying with dupont ink. I started off thinking I was getting dupont and wasn't and my printer ran like crap. It would print really slow and get bad prints. Then I found out that it was the ink. I bought dupont and it prints well now.
