I was thinking of starting printing shirts, and I was wondering what kind of transfer paper to use for black and white shirts, if i need special inks for my printer, if there were any specific shirts that would be best to be used. Im using an ink jet hp desk jet f4180. I live in canada so would it be difficult to find a supplier or should i just order from the states?
thanks!

If you do a search you will find answers to this question as it has been answered many times. What shirts use one kind of transfer (I recommend jetpro SofStretch) and dark, or black shirts use another r kind of transfer paper (I recommend everlast for darks) Also you can have plastisol transfers made. There are also laser papers, sublimation and DTG. So what you need to do is figure out what would work based on your budget, type of work, number of colors, volume. As you can see it gets complicated. I don't recommend using a HP printer. Suggest a pigment based printer such as an Epson. Lou
