Here’s what I’m looking for: I am looking for blank men’s and women’s T-shirts that are light, soft and have a vintage feel to them. The type of t-shirt that I’m looking for is sold at a Mall retail store such as American Eagle Outfitters, Urban Outfitters, and Hollister. I am planning on using stock and costume designs that have a vintage feel to them but they just don’t look right on a Hanes heavy weight or Gildan which are bright and don’t have a soft feel to them.

I’ve looked at American Apparel but I hoping for a cheaper price and I’ve found that they are a bit on the small side. Please let me know if you have thing that might be of interest to me.

I am looking at purchasing about 100 pieces per order. Ideally I would like to provide a company with a sample t-shirt that this company can reproduce it in a larger order.

Hope someone can help

Thanks

AlternativeApparel has some good, soft, vintage feel t-shirts. They aren't cheap, but they are good quality shirts.

I bought a redcross t-shirt that was printed on one and I'm using this style on a new vintage style design I'm doing. The Heathered Crew tee also looks pretty lightweight and of the same styling.

Ideally I would like to provide a company with a sample t-shirt that this company can reproduce it in a larger order.
I'm not sure you'll find a company that does custom sewing for orders of just 100 pieces. AlternativeApparel and Jerico both do custom work, but you'll have to check with them on their minimums...I have a feeling they will be larger than 100 pieces (you'll probably need closer to 2000 pieces for custom work).

I haven't measured them side by side, but they "seem" to fit a bit larger. Then again, I haven't tried as many alternativeapparel styles as I have with americanapparel.
