Hello there,
I wanted to have some t-shirts with sayings about dance on them to wear to class. I tried batik and made a big mess so then I hit the net and found this forum. This is such a great resource.
I'm going to learn how to do screen printing in the smallest way possible and then see where it takes me. Maybe some of my classmates will want to buy t-shirts and tanks from me. It will be a whole new adventure.

Hi Keith,
I looked into that quite a bit and I've decided not to go that route. Their supplies are too expensive and there were too many negative reviews.
I sent for a book from Amazon and I'll build my own press for now.
Thanks for telling me though,
Pam

Yudu is not a good idea.
Maybe before investing in equipment of any sort you should take some screen printing classes to see if you would like it. Vastex has classes in PA. There are others around the country that teach. Talk to a small screen printing shop in your area, maybe someone would be willing to show you the basics for a small fee.
Good luck

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
Wow, Justin, that sounds like a great deal even though I don't have a clue what you are talking about. Hopefully after I read some more threads and the book I ordered I'll understand more. But I don't want this to take over my whole place. I'm tripping over stuff as it is.
