Hello All,
I'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. My name is TL and the name of my company is Re:Message and the tagline is When Shouting Isn't Enough. I've been working on this for the past 6 months and I'm finally ready to print. My tees are for plus size women although they didn't start out that way. I'll be selling tees this weekend in NYC at the Fat Girl Flea Market if anyone is interested.

I've been reading the posts for about a week now and still have lots of questions that I'm sure I'll be posting. Particularly about working with artists and paying them, getting a website up,etc... So any recommendations or helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.

where do you get your plus sized shirts from? i have a few friends that i have to print on male shirts for- which is bogus- because companies like bella are insulting in the size department.

good luck!

I'm using shirtwholesaler.com. The particular style shirt I'm using goes up to 5X for women. Also, living in NYC there's lots of little places in the Garment District and in Harlem where you can find stuff you just have to hunt for it.

Insulting is labelling something as "Medium/One Size". Bella have one of the better size ranges available (not the best, but certainly not the worst).

I'm not sure who you can call a company that goes up to 2xl for ladies garments insulting.

If I had size 14 feet, I realise that I'd be in a minority which would be catered for my a specialist company.

You can't expect a generalist company to cater to extremes.

sure you can. why? their 2X isn't a true 2X. i ordered a sample 2X for a customer and was embaressed to show it to her because i could have worn it, and i wear a size small.

they have the idea right of manufacturing feminine and fitted tops for the ample boobed ladies, but the sizing is soooo off.
