Discharge don't work well. Mimaki discontinued their printers. Many other tried but failed.

To many issues. Maybe in the future.
We tried discharge many years ago for a company I used to work at for dtg use. The process wasn't that great. I also remember it having a foul smell to it.
Thanks guys ,
Getting a soft hand is my main issue.......I,m habituated to use discharge silk screen printing

will it be allowed to get a soft hand feel in dark fabric if you print white layer??
Would be able to recommended the better mix "machine-inks" for getting this??
What do you think about the Belquette Mod 1 ?
Thanks again

The print after curing will have a stiff feel depending on how much white you use but just after one wash the feel gets soft. Not fabric soft but softer.

You won't go wrong with choosing the Mod1. It's a great printer and BelQuette has a great support staff.

Thanks billy for you advice
BelQuette service and Mod1 quality have been great for us - I recommend them.
dear John
I have seen that dark tees needs pre treatment , is this process necessary ?
Olso, I have seen a Belquette "Edge" pre treatment machine , it is expensive , is there an alternative ship pre-treatment than" the edge"?

Thanks you for your help
Pretreatment is necessary for any white ink application. The Edge is a nice device and if you have the volume to support it, you may want to get one.
There are several pretreater machine on the market. Everyone having it own pluses and minus. While using a pretreat machine is best, u can use a wagner type paint sprayer or a low pressure high volume type sprayer. Many have used these for years with success.
