ioline crystal press
I was just wondering if anyone is currently using the ioline crysal press? likes or dislikes....i know there are some threads but they are back a couple of years...I have been making my own designs and templettes brushing the stones in, (time consuming!!) I have just started the business in March, also working a day job too, But, this really is what I want to do for a living. And am not sure if I want to actually make a huge investment as in a cams, tho they look awesome. Or do I just go for it and make the investment? Please just some feed back would be awesome and really appreciated, Thank you!!!

Unless you could buy this with cash AND you have a store front, this is not a machine for starting out. Try out sourcing your rhinestone deigns until you see a market to support such an investment.

I have been designing mostly custom 9" x 10" and (slightly larger) 2 to 3 color designs, & up to (approximately) 2500 stones on a design, making templates for each color and layering them in having to do a press for each color. I charge a design fee ... then if they purchase 4 or more plus the apparel I discount that from the order. And, have had quite a busy past couple of months, putting the moneu=y back into the business...I find i am spending lots of time and money making templates, brusing them in, when i could be doing more designing and finding ways to reach other markets....
I don't have a store front....but plan on taking it to outdoor venues .....
I just wanted input on the machines and such.... any if anyone had personal experince with them...

Have you considered switching to sequins? The machines are cheaper, more reliable and sequins are exponentially cheaper to produce than rhinestones.

I have not research sequin machines...maybe I will look into that also...but i still am on the hunt for more personal information on rhinestone machines, too!
