I need information about T-shirt market of Aus & NZ

I'm doing a report about T-shirt market of Aus & NZ. So I need some websites about it. I also need information of North America, but there is no sub forum for this. If you have some, please share with me.

I'm doing a research about surf T-shirt market of Australia & New Zealand in comparision with North American market.

I'll need information to answer these questions:

+ What benefits does the target market seek from T-shirts?

+ How many T-shirt does a representative consumer purchase each year, and at what price?

+ What are the most suitable styles and colours?


+ What is the most attractive segment to target?

I also need info about market share of surf T-shirt market of Australia & New Zealand.

Aah ok. With a report like that you're probably best off approaching companies around your area and asking them a few questions. You never know, they may see it as some form of advertising and you won't be able to shut them up!

Well, the biggest problem is that I am not living in Australia or New Zealand. In my country, no one goes surfing.

One more problem is that the teacher knows my first problem, so she made me to use secondary information :p (which is the internet, magazine, etc., not going around and asking questions.)

The easiest question there is the most popular colours.

For us anyway its Black, followed by White, Navy and Charcoal this year. What dates do you want this data for and if its of any benefit I am happy to share with you our unit sales by style. However I cannot tell you what company we are.

For: "+ How many T-shirt does a representative consumer purchase each year, and at what price?" i would suggest contacting one of the larger chain surf stores. In NZ I would suggest contacting Amazon (Owned by Billabong).
