Hello guys, I'm planing to start t -shirt business. I am web and graphic designer, so I think I'll have no problems designs, marketing and so on..

The problem is I am absolute beginner when we're talking about equipment.

I need help from you to find Heat Press machine and Vinyl Cutter.

I know Hotronix is a good brand but I am from Germany and shipping will coast to much. And I am looking some heat press machine until 700-800 euros. What do you think which one is best buy for this price?

For beginning I want to work only with Vinyl material.

Does anyone from you heard about Secabo TC7 Textile Heat Transfer Press 41x51cm?

They have vinyl cutter as well. I want to know if someone had already experience with this firm.

Thank you!

I have cheap chinese heat presses and they work just fine. As for a vinyl cutter you want one that is a cutter/plotter. I have Graphtech CE-5000. I think they are up to the CE-6000 now, so mine is older but it can cut finer detail than the Roland cutters. I don't know about any other brand though. But back to the heat press, you want to make sure that you get the biggest one you can afford. I recommend the swing away ones rather than the clamshell ones.

The Secabo vinyl cutters and heat presses are very good. I spoke with Secabo about possibly importing their heat presses to the US. They have a lot of custom parts for the heat presses that they OEM themselves. We sell the same vinyl cutter units in the US and have had great experiences with them. More and more distributors are starting to carry them in the US as well. They connect direct to your computer without drivers and have great cutting accuracy.
