I just tried my first transfer that I printed from my new Kodak esp9 printer. I was using Xerox transfer paper (I know it's cheap junk but that's all I have at the moment, probably bought it a gazillion years ago). The transfer actually printed very nicely but now I have this big yellow square on my tee shirt in the shape of the platen (I guess that's the term). It's like it's scorched. Do you think my press was too hot or did I use too much pressure? And how does one figure out what is the correct pressure to use? BTW, this was a used all cotton tee shirt, I didn't want to waste a new one!! And the directions for the paper did say 375 for 20 seconds.
