i have a question for ink.

Is there any difference of color ink between dual color version and white eddition?
i found that after washing, color ink has gone away a lot on white t-shirt.

i'm not sure that i should buy color version or not.

i want to know what is difference point of those.

thanks for your help!

It is the same Epson textile color ink for both printer models. The only difference is that the dual color has two channels of each of the 4 colors and cannot be changed later to print white ink. The white ink model has one channel each of the 4 colors and 2 white channels.

You are one of luckiest if you only need CYMK. It will be twice faster than CYMK + white version. Same machine(printer) with different software.
Also ink cost is on each shirt is very low compare to dark shirts.
Wash: if you use pretreat before print Impossible to wash out unless some curing process was done wrong. If washing is the issue. I will offer 150% money back.:)
Cheers! Inks are on me always.

Pretreating a white shirt is not required, however does improve washability, reduce bleeding and make the colors brighter. A lot of what appears to be fading on a white shirt is just the fibers raising up in the wash. So the quality of the shirt is very important. A very tight ring spun shirt such as cotton heritage will improve prints. As for print speeds you can go to epson.com, select professional imaging, F2000, downloads tab and there is a pdf file that gives very specific comparisons. Personally, considering u cannot reverse the decision to do cmyk plus white or dual cmyk, I would not do the dual. Same machine when u get it, but once you make the decision it is done. Not just a matter of washing the tubes.

Here is an idea of print times from Epson for the Dual CMYK COLOR model and the WHITE model F2000 printer:

On the F2000 it is almost twice as fast on the latger prints.
However not true in all printers. So just check, dont assume.
