Good day guyz,

This is my first time to try silkscreen printing using emulsion. Here's the problem: I put the emulsion on the screen [using J&J Virgo emulsion] and place a tracing paper [w/ mantika, nabsa ko lang sa thread ^^] and try to exposed it on my diy 500 watts halogen bulb [10" on 7mins>10mins>15mins] but i cant wash out the image on my screen [btw im using household hose with a good pressure on it]. My 1st try was on 7 mins, the image showed but the whole screen was almost washed out; 2nd on 10mins, almost same with my first try although its much harder now; last try on 15mins, the whole image is very clear & when i started to wash it off the image gets clearer but still it wont washed out.

i already tried other set up kya lang hindi successful..

sana po matulungan nyo ako.. salamat..

Ganito ba sayo?

LIGHT-->glass-->>tracing paper-->>screen-->>foam. A 1/4 thick glass is good enough as a counter-weight against the bottom foam to have a zero gap (good contact) between your tracing paper against the screen.

Binababad mo ba yung imgae area bago ihose?
