Just curious if Humidity in the room has anything to do with the prints coming off the Epson surecolor f2000? I have a humidifier in the room that is reading at 27%. We have had our printer about 8 months and noticing that when the shirt is coming off the print it looks great. Then we press the shirt and it is so dull and almost like the fibers are back up. We pretreat will the Lawson zoom and hang dry over night, press before we print. Any tips would be very appreciated.

Keeping a proper humidity level is important for all direct to garment printers. A 40% to 50% humidity level, kept 24/7 is required. There are several large capacity evaporative humidifiers available from Amazon, Home Depot, or Lowes for under $200 which can run for 2 to 3 days without a refill.

You may also try not air drying your wet pretreated shirts on a hanger. Try air drying them flat or try pressing them right away after you pretreat them.

Here is a suggested evaporative type humidifier with large water tanks that will help raise your humidity to a good 40 to 50 percent level:
