what will be the ground colour? i would definitely use an underbase if that is going on darks. The flesh color will noticeably change on dark ground without an underbase.
you shouldn't have to choke or trap those colors, they should be 'kiss fit'. if you have press issues with registration, then choking and trapping can help make printing easier.
