How to ship one hat

Can't seem to find a lot about shipping methods, so
what type of box or package do others use to ship caps ?

Thanks,

Don

It depends on the styling. If it's the flat visor styling, then a box is your best bet.

Otherwise, I ship in the same poly bag I ship shirts in.
I always use a box for hats. This keeps them from getting smashed. .... JB
I guess it would depend on whether or not it was a structured hat or not.

If it was, I'd probably use a USPS Priority Mail box for it, maybe something like this one.

If it was a bit malleable, I'd probably use the same tyvek/polybag type shipping envelope that I ship single t-shirts in.

That is the one I use to ship my hats in, hats fit great in them.
Thanks everyone for your replys.
Humm, post office FREE boxes, now that what I was looking for.

Thanks again.

It's like the free printers, but the ink costs you an arm and a leg.

The box is free, but then you have to ship priority mail. Depending upon the weight, minimum I think is around $5. This is no big deal if you ship priority anyway, but there are cheaper alternatives (1st class or parcel) depending on weight.
SplatHead,
$ 5.00 to ship a single baseball cap priority mail is TOO much, even if the box is free.
I know shipping 1st class or parcel is cheaper, but where do I get a box ?

Thanks,

Don

For 1st class/parcel, you don't get free boxes. So you'll have to use your own. We always have spare boxes laying around from shipments we have received, so it's no big deal for us. There are box companies or ebay where you can buy boxes from too.
