We have changed into a new Photoshop version CS3 and we need to setup color prefrences.

Dot gain, CMYK, Grays,......

Maybe a screen picture would help.

Sorry Marcos, it rather depends on the inks and substrate that you are using, different combinations will give different dot gains.
You can start with AdobeRGB1998 and something like the Euroscale v2 for your profiles, that should be better than the standard.

We do use plastisol inks.

We used these parameters on olde Photoshop version:

CMYK: Dot gain 35%
Separation options: GCR
Generate Light black, Limit Black Ink 85%, Ink Limit 250%


And know menu options are different....
