How is the pinch roller position adjusted on a GX-24? The manual says "Move the pinch roller ..."

Since further on in the instructional sequence the power is turned on, am I correct to assume the pinch rollers are simply pushed into position with a finger?

Yes....

There is a lever on the back that needs to be pushed rearward to raise the pinch rollers. Then simply slide them into place with your fingers.

You may already know this but both edges of the vinyl you are cutting must fall within one of the white guides to cut...as well as the pinch rollers. The left side of the cutter has a very large white guide area to allow you flexibility in the width of the material.......

Thanks, John. I was afraid to push any harder on the pinch rollers for fear of doing damage. I am familiear with the proper position of the loading lever as its position for loading vinyl is clearly explained in the instructions. Appreciate the advice, seems you are spot on.
:tipthank:
 Seems I missed a piece of packaging tape holding the rollers. Pulled the tape off and the rollers slide easily now. Duh.
