Kristen. What machine do you have? Can you provide a photo?
I have a 15x15 subultion digital heat press machine. I have a photo of machine temp on my phone but it's not letting me upload it from here so when I get home from work tonight I can upload it on computer to show you. Do you know why its doing that?
I think you mean sublimation. That could be any one of many machines sold on EBay and others.
Yes I got it on eBay. I was planning on getting new one on eBay to and that one says can set temp to so does mine. Is it something wrong with machine temp?
Possibly. I would contact the supplier. Also, be aware that many 'sublimation' machines to not have enough pressure to apply plastisol transfers.
I was getting new one soon...what's the best one to get??
There are many choices which will depend on your production needs and your budget. How many shirts do you think you will be printing per week?
It depends. I sell my shirts on ebay. So I sometimes get 7 orders for the week or little more then that.
I did wanted to upgrade to bigger machine maybe like 16x20 didn't know which ones the best.
There should be only 2 settings on your heat press 1. for the temperature setting needed and 2. for the time required. you should have a enter or ok button to push after those 2 options and then the current temp should be shown on the display and you have to wait for it to heat up to your desired temp to start heat printing/transferring
Here is a picture of the tempature setting on my machine. I have it set to 165 degrees. and it keeps rising. It turned on the ALM red light. And still keeps rising. I noticed I have different settings when I press "set" theres ALM, theres D, and theres a bunch of other settings to. I dont know if I just have it set wrong? They said on the thing temapture set in F?
Heres the photo:

I only have a "Set" button and 2 arrows. Anyone have any ideas how to get it to stop rising?

Can you send or post a pic of the whole controller to see the buttons. If it keeps rising past your set temperature your relay is probably faulty and not limiting the power going to the heat platen. If you post a pic of the controller I can help you out more to trouble shoot your problem and get it fixed.
I forgot to ask, is your timer and temp controller separated on your press or is it all on 1 control interface? Is it a manual or semi-automatic press?

Ok so if the heat keeps rising past your set temp and won't stop it's likely 1. Your solid state relay is faulty 2. Your digital temp controller is faulty. You can open up the back panel and locate the relay to see if it's working properly. *DO NOT work on the inside of the heat press while on or plugged in*. Most solid state relays have a red led showing if it's on, when it's a constant red light it means it's sending power to keep heating the plate up to the target temp, if it's blinking it means it's trying to regulate the heat according to what the controller has told it to. Check to see if yours has this and how it acts. If its functioning properly you
Might need to call the manufacture for a replacemt controller.
I would think sublimation would need around 205C or 400F. 165 is around 330F. Just a thought.

Ok, Do you know who the manufacture is for my kind of machine? I dont know the model of this machine either. I don't think my machine still under warrenty or not?
And my red light that shows. Once it heats the target temp it just stays lit like it don't blink or anything just red light.
When I look inside the machine what do i look for in the back by the temp?
Thank you so much for helping me! Its much appciated!

When I would set my temp to what the transfer sheets say. It burned my shirt the last time? I would had it set for around 300 when i first got my machine and it burned the transfer on shirt.
If it's burning your transfers your press might be running 15-20F hotter than the reading temp or you're time is too long. All presses run differently with different products, you should try a lower temp setting about 10F if you see it buying it or drying it out too much. Most Sublimation is around 400F depending on the manufacturer of the paper and ink.
