How to set Ricoma BESC-238 to stop for applique

Hi my friend bought Ricoma BESC 328 .We want to set the machine to stop for applique . We use .dst files. I have Bulgarian machine ( Comelect) and I set it when in color setting I put "0"(zero) for stop and 1- 9 for needles , but in ricoma I only can set the needles ( 1 -12) . If I have to applique design what i have to do . In the .dst file we make 1 color for Run for the applique and another for satin embroidery .
