I am a terrible artist and have most of my designs on my computer. Is there a way I can transfer my digital designs and screen print them? Some of the designs are a little too difficult to cut out.

I am a terrible artist and have most of my designs on my computer. Is there a way I can transfer my digital designs and screen print them? Some of the designs are a little too difficult to cut out.

Pretty much everyone screenprinting these days will use a computer to create our stencil screens.

Read around this forum, there is LOADS of info on this.

Basically:

~Design on computer
~separate out your colours on computer (if more than 1 colour design)
~print off the different colour separations onto transparent acetates
~expose your screen's light sensitive emulsion to a UV light source with the acetate taped to it
~wash out the unexposed emulsion with water to create your "stencil" on your screen
