for screen printing we use a spot gun..i am not sure about DTG but the spot gun is used after the ink has gone through the oven/dryer. feel free to message me ...

For DTG it's better to try before the ink is cured. Once DTG ink is cured, it's practically impossible to remove the all ink with a spot cleaning gun. If you can cure the printed area and leave the smudged area not pressed, then you should be able to get it out without worrying about messing up your other printed area.
Try a bleach pen. I have been told by some people that this works on some colors. Not sure if black will come out though. At this point, you don't have much to lose... so give it a try.

I use tape to remove most of ink, bleach pen can help removing rest or majority.

Booboo will happen but if they didnt I would have to do laundry once a year with all fresh shirts I got to wear
I use a product made by Shaklee called Basic H . It makes water 100 time wetter than it is. Do not heat set Booboo and spray on Basic H and I rub booboo with finger and it disappears immediately , blot with paper towel and dry with heat press. You can not buy Basic H in a store, only through a Shaklee Distributer.
