Hi From Brentwood..we are wondering how to print a transfer on a recycled hand carry bag? It looks like it is made of a compressed, tightly woven plastic material? Heat press? iron? I am having no luck.

I just had a run of 100 and found out they don't take heat. Heat press melted them, my screen print oven really melted them. Water based printing... Air dry.

I do small runs with Solar 210 from Imprintables.....

Royster, Solar 210 is a Garment Vinyl. How do you heat press that or do you?

We use Plastisol Ink with a Nylon Catalyst.

I have been told to use water based ink and air dry..but am following up for a little more details.

I think the OP is describing non woven bags or polypropylene so this material is designed for it....

I also press plastisol transfers on them....I just lower the temperature to about 280 and press 8 seconds.....But please test 1st.....Not every bag is made the same and will take the heat....

The ones I just did looked like fabric but they weren't. They were a little better than grocery store tote bags.
It was like trying to heat press a grocery store bag (but a little thicker with a fine texture in the materal).
