How to keep Hopes high after no sales...

1023 Views 5 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  NoXid
I've sold some tees and hats, but for the last 3 months I haven't sold anything.

I have visitors coming to my page, I connect through my facebook page. I'll run promotions and pass out lots of stickers.

I'm still starting out and I understand it takes a lot of time to grow.

But how do some you deal with feeling discouraged at times or keeping hopes high?

All industries are competitive. Until you're profitable, you need to compete harder than others. The key is to earn a customer base AND a strong reputation. Never forget to contact previous customers personally to try to earn their business back.

Since you're dreadfully slow, spend more time marketing. Ask customers to post photos wearing your gear to Instagram and tag your brand name. Consider having a share-a-photo contest on Facebook for a free item. Shares get your page new likes, which opens future possible customers.

Try to stand at your customers's side and think about this, if you want to buy tees, what kind of site would you choose ?
Hi, You did well in the beginning. at later stage you started losing your business it could be due to the quality of the goods that you supplied or could also be the pricing not being competitive. Try to get feedback from your customers.
Hope all works out fine. Good luck.

Don't be discouraged.
Change.
What you are doing is not working, obviously.
There is nothing like figuring out how to modify a plan to get the juices flowing again.

^ This!

Either your marketing is not reaching the right people (or enough of them, as only a certain % is going to be in the market to buy at any one time), or your product is somehow not what your market wants.

Sounds like you have designs that you imprint on shirts and hats and sell online, yes? Who is the target market for these designs? Where do these people hangout online? What are their interests?

Perhaps you can figure out some Google AdWords that would help you reach them, or become a sponsor on some online forum that is of interest to your target market. The more targeted your marketing the better. Yeah, you may get a 100 random hits on your page a day, but 90% of those people may have gotten their more or less by accident and have no real interest in your product.

I don't see a link to your site. Have you previously posted it on here for review?
