I will suggest stretch a little, also make sure you print with stretchable ink or add a stretchable additive to your ink

How to heat press spandex tank tops?
Hello,
When putting a design on a spandex tank top, do I stretch it and then put the design on or, do I leave it the original size? If left to the original size the letters will be smaller than when stretched. I have 10 to do so I want to do this right.
