One of the quickest ways to diagnose a press problem is to mark each of the press arms with a number and each of the press platens with a letter. Put these marks close to each other so with a quick glance you can see that you were working on # 2-B when the problem occurred. If number 2-B keeps coming up as you run more and more jobs, you will have an idea where to start in order to fix a problem.

Mark the mesh count on the OUTSIDE edge, on BOTH ends of the screen frame. This lets you see the number when the frame is in the storage rack. This way the number is also visible to the press operator who can easily tell whether he is using a xxx or yyy mesh screen. This is useful when the press operator finds that yyy mesh works great of black ink but not so well for white ink.
