How to come up with a price list

Hi I am a very new screen printer and I need some advice on how to get a general price list to give my customers or quote a price. How much profit should I make per shirt? What are other screenprinters making per shirt? Any and all comments are appreciated!

Your best bet is to set your price list up based on other printers in your area. Then as you get your process down and have a better understanding for your cost you can setup a better pricing method based on cost and profit.
I agree with Thutch. Depending on your market place, If it's local get a feel for what local printers pricing is, if it's Internet based, the same. You really need to know your costs to determine a pricing system that works for you and is profitable, but out the gate, find out what other local printers are charging to get an idea where to begin. Then dial it in.

Coming up with the price list was a real pain for me too. It is a good idea to research the pricing in your area like others have mentioned. You will end up adjusting it several times. good luck!
