Hi a have problem with cleaning GTX (cap/Wiper + nozzle guards)
Cleaning is done once a week on Friday, but the printer wants to run it on a Monday. I will clean up on Friday and on Monday I will pop up a message on the display. Is it going to change? Our distributor will write to me: "You have a new FW, clean it when the printer wants it" This comes to me like nonsense.

Is resetting the cleaning day, for example, by turning the printer off? Or leave it here for the week to Friday and then clean up?

I used to do it once a week on Saturdays because Sundays we are closed. And it would do the same thing and tell me to do a clean on Monday when we come back.

Now, we just do it when the machine tells us after updating the firmware. The machine tells us to do it about once every 1.5 weeks and the machine is working great right now.

Tomlaurin, cleaning of the nozzle guard, suction cap and exhaust cap are based off time or print count and the counter can only be reset once the warning or error come up. When you select the cleaning without warning the printer does not reset the date of prompt. If you’re located within the US or Canada and still require additional technical assistance, please fill out a support ticket, help.brother-usa.com/app/ask_ipd, or contact your original dealer if outside these areas.
