I was curious if anyone could suggest a good way to preview what certain graphics would look like on a shirt? I have some graphics I want to put on, but I'm not certain how well they'd like with different colored shirts as well as placement. Should I just paste it onto the pic of a shirt? Any better ideas?

Well, there is no real way to determine how much a color will change when you print it on a colored shirt. It is all really guesstimates in the end.

If you are ever worried about it, just print a white underbase and that should take care of it. If you are printing straight up then you kinda have to use the color wheel to get an idea of how it will change the color (ie:If you are printing a light blue on a yellow shirt, you will get a greenish tint to your print). It will also depend on if you are printing water based or plastisol ink, halftones, etc.

Also.... if you change the opacity to "multiply" instead of normal in Photoshop on the colored background the design will be on, that will give you a little bit of an idea. Please keep in mind that it is not the end all be all though and that if your monitor isn't professionally color calibrated then it will never be dead on.
