Hey guys, I haven't been able to find an answer to this anywhere online. I recently got 2 pounds of Matsui 301 W Opaque white ink to do my first run of shirts, about 2 dozen. I've never used the printgen before and was just wondering if I should add enough for my whole 2 pound container even though I don't think I will use all 2 pounds of the the ink on this run? Or should I only take out the ink I will think I need, put that into a separate container and mix the right amount of printgen into that? I haven't been able to find anywhere if the printgen shortens the shelf life of the ink at all. I'm not sure when I'm using the ink again after this because I'm still at the hobby/little bit of side business stage. Thanks!

I would only use the amount you need for the job, printgen is a weird product. You will see what i mean once you use it, be careful not to use too much.

Different jobs are going to require different things so you don't want to treat all your ink. As far as i know it doesn't affect the shelf life, but it does kind of make the ink separate over time.
