Hi folks
How much stock (ie vinyl materials, various tshirts sizes and colours etc) do you keep hold of?
As I'm working from home I was thinking of just keeping bare minimum amount of stuff and ordering in as and when the customer orders come through. Then I thought about the massive costs involved in delivery charges put on by suppliers.

How do you balance out paying lots of delivery charges against holding stock that you may not even be able to sell/use?

I have maybe 200 yards of material and 400 shirts at a minimum....I try to watch for sales and stock up if I can.....Clients do not always plan and it is nice to be able to fill last minute orders....If you stick to the basics it will sell....

Basic Tees.....I use Zorrel Z880.....But Gildan 2000 or something similar.....Black, Red, White, Pink, Ash and Navy......After being at this for a long time I also have a lot of odds and ends.....If I need to order a different colour, I always order extra.....I can get some brands overnight

Common vinyl colours.....White (50%), Black (20%, Red (10%) & Navy (10%).....The other colours hardly matter unless you have a school, team, etc. that has a specific colour.....

PS....Unless time or small quantity is an issue, I try to use transfers as much as possible.....
