Im getting my epson f2000 soon and was wondering how much prints i will get after i set up the epson. I hear it loses a lot of white ink? So i added two 600ML white to my order, with the 600ML added, how much shirts would i be able to print with the 250ML color that comes with the machine. Im wondering if anyone started out this way as well. Thnx.

I received F2000 about a month ago....after initial charge of the system, it showed that the initial white 250ml cartridges were low. I removed them loaded the 600ml printed a few shirts then reloaded the initial 250ml and was able to get several more shirts to print before they were really empty. I did not count the number of shirts. the number of shirts will depend upon how much white you are laying down. Are you using Garment creator or did you get one of the other RIPs - Kothari or CadLINK?

That is an impossible question to answer. It's all based on how many cc's the designs your printing uses. Some use half a cc others use 10 cc's.

As stated it is hard to say... 30, 40,? Just be sure to use the cartridge until the machine says it is empty. You may find in the morning there is not enough left to recycle or do a light cleaning. Swap it out with the full one and let the machine do its thing. Then, swap it out with the old one. It uses almost every last drop. Yes I have taken it apart. I took a so called empty brother cartridge apart and there was a good amount left. Thank you epson.

As said hard to say but for the cmyk carts they will last for 100 plus shirts. The white ink that is left lasted for , 25 medium prints, 11x12. Not using GC. But Neorip

There is always some ink left at empty. The printer only knows shots fired not really what is left in cart. Since ink is used as a coolant they do not want to burn the head up by going dry.

On the initial install and charging, I believe the system uses 333ml of ink for CMYK and the same for white. Using these numbers, the average non-white ink shirt will consume probably around 1.5 ml of ink. This is all 4 combined. Since there was 1000ml to begin with, the remaining ink would be 667ml. In theory, it would be roughly 445 shirts, but as mentioned already, it's tough to tell. Even though you don't have to typically run cleans on the color channels, there still is spitting that takes place. I typically estimate 300-400 shirts for the color inks.

When it comes to the white ink, there is 500ml of ink in the system using 333ml as mentioned about in the intial install and charge. The remainder is 167ml. If the average dark garment uses 6ml of white ink, this leaves enough for about 27 shirts. Of course, the white you are doing cleans daily (should be light cleans), and the numbers for white are all over the board, so I typically tell people you should yield 20-30 shirts with what remains.
