Hey guys, just starting out my clothing line and was wondering exactly how much profit is reasonable. When you first started out how much did you make and did you increase the percentage or decrease it? Thanks :beer:

it depends on your costs and what the market will allow.

example, if it costs you 8$ to produce a shirt you will ideally want to wholesale them at 16$ for 100% profit. However if the market dictates the average price at 12$ and that's what you sell them for then you are making less then 100% profit.

It cost me $5 to make a shirt and I sell mine for $249 each.. So that's pretty good. But i've yet to sell one. But when I do... yay!

I sell 1offs vinyl tshirts for 15.00 and tack on 1.00 after size xl and for my screen printing that all depends on the quantity.
