how many t shirts...

Just bought an Epson f2000. The tech came and made then initial set up, after 8 t shirts no more white ink and I am receiving an offline message. Is it normal ? How many shirts should a person be able to print with 600 ml ? 2 white of 250 is gone . What was done wrong ?
