Someone please tell me how you print images like this:

I am seeing these types of shirts more and more when concerning street wear and I have no idea how its done. Is this just halftones? If so how is it created. Also if this is one color on a black shirt what crazy mesh count is the screen? Thanks guys!

Yes, you definitely need to print w/ halftones. You could try to halftone just white ink and you will get the gray but, this tee looks like a 2 color print white and gray colors. Personally, I would try 230 mesh... Should not be difficult to print with proper contrast in your transparency film.
