I used one for about 4 years then went to the epson 4800. The 3000 did a nice job but the 4800 is cheaper to run. I had some print head problems with the 3000 which I have never had with the 4800.

How do you fix a print head problem? And how much cheaper is the 4800 to run? Im just looking to start out with the 3000 and upgrade to the 4800 as soon as I can afford it.
I don't remember the cost to fix but the 3000 is out of production and it was faster then having it fix to go new. It is a little cheaper not much but the real cost is in the garment and other products. But don't let that turn you away the sublimation market has been good to me.
i have two of the little darlings - they're old, slow and noisy but they put out beautiful prints! i don't do high production mass quantity so the speed has never been an issue for me.
ok well now yall got me thinking. Now im thinking of spending the extra money on the epson 3800 how is this printer for sublimation??

thanks
