How fast are you with the T-Jet2

Just like the title says. I am curious how many shirts others using the T-Jet2 are getting out in an hour on average.

I will say right now I am new, I know I am slow.

1440 wub x720color Dark Garment

I do all my my pretreat first, but then I have kind of a weird setup so it takes me longer to walk from the PT station to the Press. I could do the PT during the printing but choose not to so as I am still new and tend to flub things up.

12 x 12 dark print from the time I start loading the platen to the time the last shirt is pulled out of the heat press I can manage about 6 shirts in an hour.

Slow I know. What should I be shooting for from those of you that have been using the T-Jet2 for a while.

THE most I have done was 800 prints in 8 days full photo back with graphics and front pocket print .
I was running my butt off. I averaged 7 pieces per hour
the backs took forever but the fronts where done in a day and a half

buy a extra shirt board that way you are one step ahead of machine , while its printing you can cure prints and pre treat
lol Glad Im not to far off then. Yeah My next purchase is a couple boards, youth and adult tucloc.

800 in 8 day sounds like some 10 - 12 hour days on that one.
well when i have a big order i use 1440hs*720hs with the underbase set to 90% and make 12 t-shirts an hour the best i can do

I prefer the old style over tuck lock

I havent used the tucloc's just seen them. Any particular reason why you like the old sty better?
I like the ring better
Tucking shirt seems to allow shirt to move to much and if your not carefull you will over stretch the shirt

Best investment I made to speed me up was a second platen. You save 20 second to 2 minutes between prints. Which would yield another shirt per hour. If and when I get more business my next purchase will be a second heat press.
If you are using the EZrip software I suggest unchecking the highlight white box. Then it won't lay down a full block of white, it will only print where the white is needed. That will speed you up a bunch and save money.
I also pretreat everything and dry it before I get started printing.
