I think all of us every once in a while has a design they press that does not stick right. Maybe one corner lifts up as you peel the paper off. Maybe you see a part that looks "puffy" and when you inspect it find it's not pressed right.
When that happens to me with Plastisol transfers, almost always I just put parchment paper over the area and press it again. That normally does the trick. But since that does happen once every 2-4 dozen times, that got my thinking, just how do you really know when a design is pressed right?
How do you know that most of your transfers have a part of them not really pressed right and will come off in the first wash? How do you know most of your designs just barely stuck right? How do you know when you re-press a part of the design it will really stay?
I'm just concerned about how we really don't know just how well each design we do is pressed, and the only way we will know is after the customer washes the shirt a few times. By then it's too late and you have an angry customer. Is there any real way to know your design is really pressed good and right?
