How do you make these wing tips pointed?

I ungrouped the image, but my results wasn't at all to my liking, it automatically turned the tips black and when I went to change the color back to white, nothing happened. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what your asking? What are you trying to do?

Would be happy to help if we can pinpoint exactly what you're doing.

Are you trying to say that you're working in illustrator and ungrouped the layers/objects and the appearance of the wings changed?
Im working with coraldraw and I just ungroup the whole thing and using the shape tool, I attempted to make my wing tips pointed unlike the rounded tips n the attachment. when I attemp to make them pointed, the tips automatically turn blk and when I go to change them back white, nuthing happens. Is there a shortcut to make the tips pointed?
There is no shortcut I know of...

Are the entire wings turning black? Or just the tips where you try and make them pointed?

If it's just the tips I would guess you are altering the bottom graphic. Some images use a foreground and background image to make up the graphic. So the white of the image is sitting on top of the black image. So if you have the black background selected then you would make that pointy and that could be why the tips look black. If you select the top and bottom graphics together and try and change it that may be your problem.

Bitmap it to lineart , trace low quality then shape tool by added node on the inside and out.

sorry forgot to remove white color during trace and then replace after adjusting

What kind of image are you working with , raster or vector?
It is a layered vector image.
could you send me the file and i could try

i use corel draw so if its something other than that i would need it as a EPS file
in corel , ungroup , use the node tools to reshape . left click will change fill, right click will change outline.
Sounds like your white fills are interfering with the shaping of the black. If there are white fills left after the trace you want to delete all of them before you begin reshaping.

Draw a yellow square and drop it behind your illustration. All you should see is black and yellow. Anything white should be deleted.

When you are done shaping the black you can add the fills in. In the future you can adjust your trace settings to eliminate the fills so it won't be an extra step.
