I'm in the Atlanta Metro Area and looking for training classes or conferences. Does anyone have recommendations? Right now I have a heat press and cutter. I'm a Newbie and have already printed my first set of t's using transfers from TW. Looking for more information and thinking about purchasing a starter package for screen printing.

Two shows that I have found to be very helpful are the ISS Show (Imprinted Sportswear Show), issshows dot com and NBM Show, the nbm shows dot com. Both are very informative with the ISS being more focused on the garment industry than the NBM show. Looking at the upcoming schedule I see that the ISS Show will be in Atlanta the early part of September. Take a look at their sites and see what's available as far as vendors and educational opportunities for you. Good Luck!

I believe there is an ISS Show in Atlanta in September. Just google ISS Show and go to the website for more info. They are pretty good show. I learnt alot in Fort Worth last year.
I would also check the vendor websites many of the major ones advertise they will be attending them and to look forward to their booths.
Also any conference centers/venues websites, many have RSS feeds when parties book or areas of interest.
