I have been using some speedball brand inks. one gold and one white. i am wondering if i am doing something wrong with them?

the inks that came with the yudu are much creamier and go on great, but the speedball doesn't work so good. it goes on very light, and doesn't always give me good coverage.

i use basically the same tools and technique with both inks but since i am new to this i am still wondering if it's the ink or could it be my technique?

thoughts?

I used speedball when i first started, it was recommended to me to use a 110 for underbase and 160 for the print...it worked o.k....after the first wash it started to crack and fade...a sorta vintage look...but i didnt(still dont) know how to cure it properly, so maybe that was some of the problem.
If you want professional results you're always better getting pro quality stuff.
Good Luck.
